About Us
The Pet Clinic was founded in 1982 by Dr. Barbara Teter and Dr. Carol Curry. Over the years, they built the hospital into the well respected practice that it is today! In 2015 with a strong desire to keep the practice independent and in the family, they sold the clinic to long time associate veterinarian, Dr. Michelle Hanna and her husband Mike. Dr. Teter and Dr. Curry continue to practice and take care of their many clients. It is the goal of the Hannas to carry on The Pet Clinic's well established legacy, while also growing and developing the hospital and team in new and exciting ways!
We are a full service veterinary hospital with seven, highly trained veterinarians and a dedicated hospital support team. We focus on preventative medicine, surgical procedures, dental care, as well as holistic and alternative therapies such as laser therapy.
We are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), meaning we have chosen to be evaluated on more than 900 standards of veterinary care and service. Only 15% of practices in the US have made this voluntary commitment to excellence, ensuring that your pet will receive the highest level of care available.
Our team is committed to educating clients in how to keep pets healthy year round, with good nutrition, exercise and preventive care. The Pet Clinic stays current with the latest advances in veterinarian technology and health care. Above all, we remember that all animals need to be treated with care and compassion in every visit to our hospital.
